ABOUT ME
Hey there! :)
My name is Gaia and I'm a filmmaker.

I was born and raised in Italy, in a small town called Modena, where you eat tortellini, Parmigiano Reggiano and balsamic vinegar. We also drink lots and lots of Lambrusco, but that's not the point.
​
Back to business: I studied Graphic Design at university, then I moved to Barcelona and decided to study Film-making. There, I specialized in documentaries because I love people and telling their stories. I have a very strong passion for photography. Wandering the streets of a city and capturing its most characteristic corners, stealing or politely asking for portraits is one of the things that fulfills me the most as an artist.

The logo
I designed the branding of this page with the idea of sharing and disseminating images in mind. I therefore thought that a Dandelion is a flower that well represents the concept of travel, because its petals travel in the wind, making the birth of new flowers possible.
I like to think that my work is a bit like this plant, slowly getting further and further away.
